We are working on developing margin capability tools that will help reduce bilateral counter party credit risk and free up credit lines. This will help improved capital ratios, lowered capital charges and bring on operational efficiencies.
This margin tool will help insurer member firm participants’ access margin calculation capabilities via a browser, API or downloaded software to run calculations locally. This will be an interactive margin calculator that allows insurer member firm participants to calculate and evaluate initial margin requirements for all Gilgal General products, both exchange-listed annuities and OTC.
